This is my latest finished work entitled the guardian. The initial idea was sketched on paper and then followed two weeks of work to make it 3d. The objects in the scene were modeled using editable poly, loft and mesh smooth. Initially I tried to use only one light source and rely only on the GI provided by Vray, but the results weren't satisfactory so I added multiple light sources until I got the desired effect. Hope everyone like this image and comments are welcome.

Have you ever tried to visualize a dream or nightmare in 3D ? The Guardian by ~Tesparg offers a unique image on it's genre with a surrealist and dream-like style. (

OMG that is just pure amazing! It looked to realistic to be drawn and to organic to be 3D. I am very jealous! I assume you use a sculpting application? ie 3D-coat or Zbrush
